- what: The aim of this study was to evaluate the changes in the mechanical properties and surface chemistry of aligners treated with cleaning solutions of different composition. The results of this study showed that some cleaners may affect the mechanical properties or/and the surface chemistry of aligner materials fabricated by polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PET-G) or poly(ester-urethane).
