Exploring the role of video playback visual cues in object retrieval tasks

HIGHLIGHTS

• What: The authors focus on three key events that occurring sequentially during 2 of 15 the object placement process, which the authors use as starting points for video playback, selectively showcasing a portion of the object placement process. The authors examined the effects of playback starting point and playback speed on object retrieval tasks. The aim of this practice block was to establish an in-depth understanding of the environment among the participants. After the experiment, the authors conducted a semi-structured interview to gather insights into the participants` object retrieval experiences throughout the experiment.
