Nobiletin stimulates adrenal hormones and modulates the circadian clock in mice

HIGHLIGHTS

  • What: This study demonstrated a novel function of nobiletin and the regulation of the peripheral circadian clock. The authors aimed to figure out the treatment-timing-dependent effect of nobiletin using in_vivo PER2::LUC peripheral clock imaging in mice. This study has the following limitations: Although the authors evaluated the acute circadian clock response to nobiletin, the authors did not assess the effects of long-term administration (lasting more than one week).
  • Who: Conn Ryan and colleagues from the Laboratory of Physiology and Pharmacology, School of Advanced Science and Engineering, Waseda Graduate School of Biomedical . . .
