Spectroscopic insights into multi-phase protein crystallization in complex lysate using raman spectroscopy and a particle-free bypass

HIGHLIGHTS

  • What: To find a suitable PAT set-up for protein_crystallization in a heterogeneous mixture, this research project investigates different spectroscopic methods, their limitations, and possible implementation for the application to crystalline slurries. The enzyme Lactobacillus brevis alcohol dehydrogenase (LbADH) which is a homologous_protein to LkADH of this project showed an increasing tendency to form crystals with increasing PEG concentration and was studied in detail in Nowotny et_al .
  • Who: Raman spectroscopy and collaborators from the Wageningen University and Research, Technical University of Munich, Garching, Germany have published the research work: Spectroscopic insights into multi-phase protein . . .
