- what: The aim of this study was to evaluate the toxicity of 27 terpenoids (16 monoterpenoids, 8 sesquiterpenic compounds, and 3 norisoprenoids) at different concentrations (1, 10, 50, and 100 µM) and incubation times (0, 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100 min) using the V. fischeri bioluminescence inhibition assay. This study reports the toxicity of terpenoids against V. fischeri bacteria.
