HIGHLIGHTS
- What: The study reveals that women journalist in Himachal Pradesh face challenges in balancing both professional and personal life due to multiple roles and responsibilities they perform. The study adopted quantitative approach using purposive sampling to find the answer of the objective. Though responsibilities still hinder the growth path but traditional gender roles are not the main reason of burden on women journalists. Child rearing is a major reason for them to resign their jobs (Divakar et.al,2020).
