- What: The authors aim to explore the relationship between community resilience and health emergency communication and to identify strategies and interventions to strengthen their usefulness to each other. The analysis focused on allowing themes to be developed from the bottom-up (inductive approach). While some articles recognised the value of community partnership, many still adopted a top-down approach, focusing on dissemination of information from central agencies without fully involving communities in the decision-making process.
