  • What: Through this methodology, the authors examine the effects of suspension of language input during a young child`s acquisition of a new target language. The authors report selected results from multiple assessments of a bright, active, friendly young Korean-born male, MJ, who was studied longitudinally in an English-only nursery school (Cornell Early Childhood Center; hereafter "ECC") in the United_States. In this paper, focusing on the hypotheses , the authors report selected results from across the 49 sessions and their multiple assessments, which bear directly on the research question, i.e., MJ`s language (English) development . . .
