  • What: The aim of this study was to investigate how instructors experienced teaching reading in Foundation Phase classrooms and how they applied various tactics to make reading instruction successful. Lastly, the study presents the research methodological procedures followed in collecting data and analysing it to arrive at meaningful conclusions. The study aimed to contribute empirical evidence to the existing body of literature by providing practical recommendations for enhancing the teaching of reading within the Capricorn District and similar settings globally.
