• What: On-sky validations To provide an impression of what is possible with MISTRAL, the authors report below salient (so far unpublished) examples of science made with MISTRAL observations during its first two years of exploitation. The authors focus on the Hα line observed with AURELIE (Fig 9). In Table 7, the authors summarize the photometric results, and the authors show them in the context of the worldwide follow-up campaigns in Fig 13. This research has made use of the MISTRAL database, operated at CeSAM (LAM), Marseille, France.
