  • What: The aim of the research is to evaluate the prevalence and contributing factors of anemia during pregnancy. This research examined the prevalence and determinants of anemia and its adverse outcomes among pregnant women and it was found a larger burden of maternal iron deficiency anemia posing concern for both the expecting mother and new-born specially in rural areas of India majorly due to poverty.
