Navigating the maze: exploring non-oncological complexities in non-small-cell lung cancer

  • What: The aims of this study were to ascertain the prevalence of lung cancer cases associated with other pulmonary lesions among patients diagnosed with lung cancer in 2019 at the Marius Nasta Institute of Pneumophthisiology, Bucharest, Romania, analyze their associations and localizations, and evaluate the impact of risk factors such as cigarette smoking and occupational exposure to respiratory carcinogens.
