- What: The aim of this article is to investigate the limits of humans and AI in the detection of fake images. In fact, the authors propose, on the one hand, an analysis of the human detection of artificially generated static images created with some of the most recent generative techniques. The authors compare these results with some automatic detection models. From a machine perspective, the authors propose an analysis of some automatic detectors.
