The effects of blended learning environment on university students’ critical thinking dispositions in college english course

HIGHLIGHTS

  • What: The aim of this study was to ascertain the degree to which freshmen at North China University of Science and Technology (NCUST) had developed their critical thinking and English performance in College English Course (CEC) in the context of blended learning environment. According to Lu , there was a need for improvement in justiceorientedness and analyticity, yet this study reveals that analyticality and systematicity got the lowest scores among the eight dimensions. This study has certain limitations that provide avenues for future research.
