HIGHLIGHTS
- What: In , the study of the behavior of the recurrence coefficients for orthogonal polynomials with respect to singular weights was considered. The aim of this contribution is to analyze the properties of polynomials orthogonal with respect to the truncated distribution defined by a jump at a positive real number z and β=-2. In Sect 9 the authors focus the attention on the electrostatic interpretation of the zeros of the above orthogonal polynomials.
