Anaemia, dyslipidaemia and electrolytes imbalance in type 2 diabetes mellitus: an analytical cross-sectional study

  • What: This study was designed to evaluate electrolytes imbalance, dyslipidaemia and anaemia in T2DM. This study shows that the overall electrolyte imbalance was found to be 18%. This study shows only significant negative correlation between hypomagnesaemia and LDL. meta-analysis with 12 A randomised controlled trial (RCTs) revealed that the LDL level in T2DM patients is significantly lowered by Mg supplementation .
