Financial well-being, financial literacy, and environmentally sustainable behaviour: a pls-sem approach

HIGHLIGHTS

  • What: The study aims to assist government and non-governmental organizations in achieving the United Nations` Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 2030 including no poverty good health reduced inequality responsible consumption and production and climate action. The study aims to investigate whether individuals with financial well-being are concerned about environmental sustainability. This study proposes that: H5: There is a significant and positive relationship between financial well-being and environmentally sustainable behaviour. The study reveals that financial resilience significantly influences environmentally sustainable behaviour, as higher financial well-being leads to more environmentally conscious choices.
