The relationship between triglyceride/high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio and the functional significance of coronary lesions

HIGHLIGHTS

  • What: The authors aimed to investigate whether the TG/HDL-C ratio is associated with the functional significance of moderate coronary artery lesions. The authors demonstrated that TG/HDL-C levels were significantly higher in patients with functionally significant coronary artery stenosis assessed by FFR measurement. The study analyses are based on a single TG/HDL-C value, and the authors did not follow up on temporal changes and variations in TG/HDL-C. Informed Consent Because the study was designed retrospectively, no written informed consent form was obtained from patients.
