• What: Currently, the cryopreservation and recovery system for PGCs is immature, so the authors intended to provide a solution for optimizing the cryopreservation and recovery system from the gene_expression level. Cell freezing can cause DNA damage, so the authors focused on different DNA damage repair pathways. The analysis showed that there were no obvious differences in the expression of genes related to repair pathways such as base excision repair (BER), nucleotide excision repair (NER), mismatch repair (MMR) and homologous recombination (HR) during PGC development (Supplementary Figure S8).
