- What: The aim of this study was to evaluate subjective and objective outcomes following IOL exchange due to homogeneous IOL calcification to improve evidence-based patient counseling. The difference in results might be attributed to the study design, which excluded eyes with additional ocular morbidities, resulting in better pre- and postoperative CDVA. The study provides functional, morphological and patient-relevant outcome data, allowing a more evidence-based consultation.
