HIGHLIGHTS

  • What: This work examines patterns of isolation/loneliness across the the authors from 2016 to 2022 among individuals aged 24 and younger. The study seeks to extend to the existing knowledge base by examining the prevalence of isolation/loneliness clusters in space and time during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study explores several key questions regarding isolation/loneliness among young people in the contiguous United_States between 2016 and 2022. The results of this study provide new evidence on the youth populations most vulnerable to isolation/loneliness.
