• What: The research was carried out to determine the potential effect of microbiota organic carbon percentage of moisture content and biomass concentration as an evaluator of variation in basal soil respiration rate. Based on the above information, this investigation was formulated to examine the relative abundance, composition, and action of microbial communities in different manganese overburden spoil collected in a chronosequence manner (fresh mine spoil: FMS; 2-year dump: MBO2; 4-year dump: MBO 4; 6-year dump: MBO 6; 8-year dump: MBO8; 10year dump: MBO10; Forest soil: FS) across the sites.
