Optical emission spectroscopy of breaking arc plasma between consumable electrodes

  • What: The investigation focuses on the optical emission spectroscopy of plasma generated by breaking arc single-component Cu and composite Cu-W manufactured using shock sintering technology at temperature of 750°C. The aim of this work is to investigate the temporal behaviour of metal vapour admixtures in the plasma of breaking arcs between Cu-W composite electrodes.
