- What: The aim of this study is to analyze the effects of exhaustive exercise on the ANS, with a specific focus on how it influences HRV regulation. In this study, the physiological load index was calculated to assess the relative cardiovascular strain during exercise. Comparing LF and HF, the decrease in HF was more substantial, which was the primary reason for the increase in LF/HF ratio. This study provides key insights into how exhaustive exercise impacts the autonomic nervous system, particularly through changes in HRV that signal shifts in sympathetic and parasympathetic activity.
