- What: The authors evaluated the efficacy of the PREMIER technique on hard and soft clots by comparing the PREMIER technique with the simple use of EmboTrap III in an in_vitro vessel model in which the M1 segment of the middle cerebral artery was occluded by fibrin-rich hard and erythrocyte-rich soft clots. The authors propose a new technique called the PREMIER technique, which is effective for fibrin-rich hard clots in thrombectomy. This study on the PREMIER technique was conducted using a small number of in_vivo cases.
