  • What: Objective: This study explored the role of community spaces and services on their child`s physical activity across the COVID-19 pandemic from the perspectives of Nova Scotia caregivers. A sub-sample of this data was used for the purpose of this research. Many of the caregivers in the study reported that the cancelation of community services, for example, sport practices or recreational programs initially negatively affected their child`s movement behaviors and then forced them to rely on more unstructured activities at home compared to before the COVID-19 pandemic.
