Improving fifth-grade students’ reading comprehension of literary texts by enhancing their academic emotions

HIGHLIGHTS

  • What: Using an action research methodology this study examined how fifth-grade students` of literary texts can be enhanced by improving during Understanding these drawbacks in both practitioners and learners in the school, this study aimed to enhance students` academic emotions in reading and comprehension of literary text using teacherstudent positive emotion co-regulation strategies such as socio-emotional learning (SEL) programmes and mindfulness practices such as meditation.
