HIGHLIGHTS
- What: The authors explore various factors, including patients` conditions, tumor characteristics, tumor markers, tumor immune-inflammatory microenvironment, and treatment methods, to predict prognosis and develop individualized treatment strategies for achieving pCR post-nCRT in LARC. This study was approved by the institutional ethics review committee at the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University (Approved no.:2024-E164-01), and informed consents were obtained from each participant according to the committee`s regulations.
