Reflections on implementing indigenous research paradigm and participatory action research: research with the indigenous people

HIGHLIGHTS

• What: If the three phases are completed and the goals is not achieved, the research team repeats the whole process until the research goals are met. Although the authors opted to collaborate with the indigenous people involved in the study , confidentiality and anonymity were difficult to adhere to because the research had to follow ethical standards from the university. This was the initial step that the authors took, thus, in the communication with the right-hand man, the authors outlined the aim of the study and the significance of wanting to conduct the study in their area . . .
