• What: This research focuses specifically on European Journal of Health Communication 2024, Vol. This study explored government and political communication around Covid-19 in the Scottish Twittersphere, examining key themes and social networks communities. The research aimed: 1) to determine the predominant themes emerging from the Scottish Government`s, political parties/ leaders` tweets (RQ1); 2) to discern the main clusters in the collected Twitter network, the core topics of discussion and the most influential figures within these communities (RQ2).
