By focusing specifically on TikTok, the authors aim to identify the factors within this social media platform that influence body satisfaction among Gen-Z individuals. Through this investigation, the goal is to shed light on the factors that contribute to body shaming incidents, increase user awareness of the effects of social media on body image perception, and empower individuals to take control of their usage.
