HIGHLIGHTS
- What: This work shows the advantages and promising applications of technique in solid-state lasers. The authors experimentally studied and compared the slope efficiency, the crystal temperature and beam quality of the output laser beams when a pure copper plate (PCP), water cooling and vapor chamber are employed, respectively. This work proposes a new thermal management solution that using vapor chamber for solid-state laser systems.
