• What: To address these issues, in this study the authors employ a large set of experiments with the fully coupled version of the Community Earth System Model (CESM) to investigate the linear response of the MHT to latitudinal thermal forcing in both hemispheres. The authors focus the investigation on the response of the MHT to latitudinal forcing, and thus the radiation patches along the same latitude are grouped together when reporting the results.
