HIGHLIGHTS
- What: In this study, two kinds of surface sizing agents were prepared by the combination of water-soluble modified chitosan MAAC and O-CMCS with polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), and the effects of the sizing process on the dry and wet tensile strength, burst strength, antibacterial property and surface morphology of the dialysis paper were studied. The results of this study provided theoretical guidance for the application of modified chitosan in the surface sizing of the dialysis paper.
