Legislative Elections in Russia and Ukraine For the empirical part of the study, the authors focus on two post‐Soviet countries: Russia and Ukraine. The authors investigate how patriotic narratives were employed during political campaigns in both countries and analyze to what extent users engage more with patriotically related messages.
