- What: In this work, we have described the recently discovered cells and emphasizing their role in health and disease: valve endothelial cells and their role in valve stiffness, multipotent progenitor cells of the pericardium and their limited ability to replace cardiomyocytes in certain conditions, circulating multipotent stem_cells and their regenerative capabilities, and the important role of telocytes under physiological and pathological condition, and their promising role in treating myocardial infarction.
