- What: Objective: This study explores stakeholder perspectives on ethical legal and practical concerns regarding models of consent for health data research at German University Medical Centres. In broad consent patients consent to the use of their health data for research purposes for unspecified future research. The main reason invoked is the amount of time needed to communicate in person - scarce time for researcher physicians that ought to be used for what they deem to be more important tasks. The study has explorative character and the significance of the results is necessarily limited due to the small size . . .
