  • how: A similar result was obtained with HEK293T_cells in which the VRK1 (-u200b1028 +u200b 52) gene promoter was also activated in a dose dependent manner by Sox2 (Supplementary Fig S3d). These results indicated that the effect of Sox2 on VRK1 promoter is mediated by the region comprised between residues -u200b1028 to -u200b264.
