- what: All patients admitted to the hospital were given a letter which stated that their data could be used for research purposes, and that they could opt out if they disagreed. The authors therefore used self-report symptom questionnaires followed-up by semi-structured clinical interviews to evaluate level of psychological adjustment. Obviously the results only . . .
