Links between fecal microbiota and the response to vaccination against influenza a virus in pigs

HIGHLIGHTS

  • who: Marion Borey from the (UNIVERSITY) have published the research: Links between fecal microbiota and the response to vaccination against influenza A virus in pigs, in the Journal: (JOURNAL)
  • what: The aims of the study were to analyse the following: (i) whether fecal microbiota composition before vaccination was associated with vaccine response intensity and_(ii) whether vaccination induced differences in microbiota evolution between vaccinated and non-vaccinated pigs. The authors carried out an analysis of D28 fecal microbiota to identify OTUs that were differentially abundant between the groups that would later demonstrate extreme responses.
