Prevalence of the genes associated with biofilm and toxins synthesis amongst the pseudomonas aeruginosa clinical strains

The strains were initially identified based on typical growth on a selective medium (Cetrimide agar, bioMérieux, France) and biochemical reaction results. The final identification was made using a MALDI-TOF MS device (Bruker, Mannheim, Germany). All the strains were also initially screened for the presence of MBLs, OXA-like and Klebsiella pneumoniae carbapenemases (KPC) enzymes (data not shown).
