- what: The authors aimed to explore the association between histone crotonylation and DNA damage in colon cancer. The authors show that SIRT6 can decrease the cellular level of H3K27cr.
- how: The result showed that except for genes with promoter occupied by H3K18cr the published histonecrotonylation-related gene sets were significantly enriched in DNA damage abstract .
