The molecular structure is shown in the figure. The (E )-(RS)-1-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-4,4-dimethyl-2-(1,2,4triazol-1-yl)pent-1-en-3-ol (0.653 g, 0.200 mmol) was dissolved in methanol (10 mL). Colorless stick crystal of the title compound was obtained by slow evaporation from propanone. As a broad spectrum systemic 1,2,4-triazole fungicide, diniconazole (E)-(RS)-1 . . .
