- how: These data showed that mice with the Pcyt2fl/fl/Alb-Creu2af9/0 tail genotype had efficiently deleted the Pcyt2 gene in the majority of hepatocytes. These data indicated that the lipid droplets observed in the electron micrographs (Fig 4B) were composed primarily of TG.
