Magnetic and martensitic transformations in ni48co2mn35in15 melt-spun ribbons

HIGHLIGHTS

  • who: Magnetic and collaborators from the Illinois University, Carbondale, Illinois, USA have published the paper: Magnetic and martensitic transformations in Ni48Co2Mn35In15 melt-spun ribbons, in the Journal: (JOURNAL) of 30/08/2018

SUMMARY

In the last ten years, the structural, magnetic, and magnetocaloric properties of off-stoichiometric Ni-Mn-X based Heusler alloys (X=Sn, In, Sb) in the form of ribbons have been extensively investigated. In fact, by changing the synthesis parameters, the phase transition temperatures and magnetic properties of melt-spun ribbons may change considerably as compared to their bulk counterparts . . .
