    Pelvic floor trauma refers to injuries of the different anatomical structures of the pelvic floor and commonly occurs at the time of the first vaginal childbirth. Obstetric pelvic floor disorders refer to effects of pregnancy and childbirth on anatomy and function of the pelvic floor appearing up to 12 months postpartum.
