    Stuttering is a multifactorial disorder that extends beyond its physical nature and has emotional, social, educational, and vocational aspect. The actual occurrence of stuttering before the age of 6 years is much higher than the later years which suggests that most cases of stuttering will be found during a child`s earlier years, and subsequently, most children who stutter are in mainstream schools, with a prevalence of 1.03% in primary school children in Cairo.
