SUMMARY
By incorporating knowledge of traditional culture into the schools, as shared by Elders and Knowledge Keepers in the community, along with incorporating awareness of place and belonging through connections to the land, family, community, and spirituality, ahkamimohwin will be integrated into education and will lead to miyo-pimatisiwin or "living a good life." I will then provide a short historical and contemporary pro le of the community to illustrate how Métis and First Nations Peoples in northwestern Saskatchewan have lived miyo-pimatisiwin, and the challenges they have overcome to maintain their way of . . .
