SUMMARY
Stigmatized SM individuals, including lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual, asexual, and other non-heterosexual people, are more likely to present increased levels of mental health disorders, particularly anxiety and depression, and social anxiety symptoms in comparison to heterosexual individuals.
