HIGHLIGHTS
- who: Jurg Ott and collaborators from the Laboratory of Statistical Genetics, Rockefeller University, New York, NY, USA have published the Article: Overview of frequent pattern mining, in the Journal: (JOURNAL)
- what: The authors focus on practical ways of establishing whether genotype patterns found by such methods are statistically reliable. But here the authors focus on the common practice of restricting patterns to those with high confidence. The idea underlying the FDR has been formulated as a partition test and may lead to more discoveries than FDR , but this approach has not been pursued further.
